Dark Horse in Blue Ember! I'm also thinking to go with these add-ons: Dark Horse Handling Package ($4,500), Recaros ($1,650) and the large cargo organizer ($105). I wanted the racing stripes them being priced at $5,495 is unreasonable.

That's cool that your wife will enjoy the Dark Horse as well. It also helps that Ford's 10 speed auto is a pretty solid transmission unlike some autos.

Did you consider any other options to get? I would find it hard to not get the Handling Package.

Yeah the handling package is something I really would not need. To busy working to pay for everything so won't probably see a track, however the Dark Horse without the handling package would be fine for the track! There were some items that are late availability so stayed away from them.

Welcome to the forum @owhitt! Yeah you're not the only one that has seen that kind of a markup on the Dark Horse. @Barbara Torres has been told $15,000 to $30,000 mark ups.

Are you going to wait on a Dark Horse? Or go for another model like a GT?

I tried over 10 dealers. 10K or under seems to be a good deal.

My dream spec is the Blue Ember launch car with a manual, painted strips, and the handling package. I am wondering if I should change to Grabber Blue (Ford has not locked in my build yet but my order has been placed). But Grabber Blue may be a little too bright. I like the fact that I have heard several people saying Blue Ember looks purple and gold from different angles and in different light.
