What Ford dealerships do you know that are not charging an additional markup on the 2024 Ford Mustang?
I believe you, however my dealer claims they have Dark Horse allocations.Sioux Falls Ford does not sell anything over MSRP. I am in sales there and they still honor X,Z, and D-plan for all vehicles as well.
Order banks have not opened for 2024 Mustangs yet. 2023 models opened up Jan 14th. I think some people just assumed that was the order bank for the 2024. I am assuming that the order Banks for the Dark Horse will be Mid March but trust me when I say that I check every day to see if they have opened, because I am first in line to build one.
Wonder if they’re just trying to set people up for ridiculous ADM’sI believe you, however my dealer claims they have Dark Horse allocations.
If they are telling you that they already have Allocations, then they are lying. The order banks aren't even open to build them. They may be guessing based on their volume or their connections but nobody has been given allocations. The DH is not expected to be an allocated build. That would be the worst thing that Ford could do at this point. With Dodge looking away from the V8, Camaro unsure as to its life, and the Corvette priced up in the stars. Ford needs to produce and fairly sell as many as they can.I believe you, however my dealer claims they have Dark Horse allocations.
Good Morning! I reached out to your dealer a little earlier inquiring about the Dark Horse, If you could shoot me a text or email I would appreciate it as I'm trying to order one, please text me at 718-551-4580 or email me at [email protected]If they are telling you that they already have Allocations, then they are lying. I just found out today that Most dealership New Cars Managers and Mustang sales managers will be sitting in on a presentation about the 2024 Mustangs (to include the Dark Horse) on February 20th. It should be to provide ordering information as well as build and order out process. Hopefully it will also provide some expected timelines.
Order guides will be available on Feb 27th and Order Banks will open up on March 27th. It looks like the DH will have very limited availability. At least 1 per dealership with volume of Mustang sales helping some dealerships get a few more. GT 5.0 will be available to order as normal.
Welcome to the forum @andrewj1221! How do you want to spec the Dark Horse?Good Morning! Per my email, our dealership was only allocated 2 Dark Horse Mustangs and our list is much longer than that currently. We will try to get more allocated but who knows how well that will go.
You say the DH will not be an allocated car. Seems now most dealers are being allocated 1 or 2 at most.If they are telling you that they already have Allocations, then they are lying. That’s what was originally said but that has changed it is going to be and allocated vehicle which sucks because it just enables the crooks out there to price gouge. You say the DH will not be an allocated car. Seems now most dealers are being allocated 1 or 2 at most.
Welcome to the forum. What spec are you after? My dealership has been allocated 3, at least what I was told. Fortunately I had been communicating with them for months so I’m guaranteed 1 of them. Put $500 deposit a week ago. They are waiting for the build bank to open and will contact when it does.
