I have a GT on order and got the same exact email so...What a bummer. Can't imagine how frustrated you reservation holders must be feeling.
Assuming Ford's supply chain explanation is true (and it's not a quality issue like they're having with the super duty trucks), any guesses as to what the hold up would be? I presume it's specific to DH and not GT or Ecoboost.

Yes, I got the same email yesterday. Hope it’s a mistake, received same on for my 2022 custom order, and days later, received vin #.The car took a week or so to build and 5 weeks to ship. Arrived with trunk carpet hanging down and dented dash placard. 400 miles, trany stuck in 1st gear and assembly replaced. Then the drivers seat faulty. Final straw, headliner separated and - at 1,400, needed new trany. Lemon experience not great. So I wait for 2024 and hope that new CEO is checking for quality.
