Anybody get this email from Ford?

I hope this isn't another parts shortage for the S650 Mustang but a late announcement covering what's already going on...

"We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Today, we wanted to give you an update on the status of your Mustang Dark Horse order.

Unfortunately, continued supply chain issues are slowing things down. We're working diligently to try and reduce these delays.

Now here's our promise to you. We know that waiting for delivery of your Ford is far less fun than actually driving it. So, we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle's production schedule status. No matter what.

Thank you for your patience and understanding."

What a bummer. Can't imagine how frustrated you reservation holders must be feeling.

Assuming Ford's supply chain explanation is true (and it's not a quality issue like they're having with the super duty trucks), any guesses as to what the hold up would be? I presume it's specific to DH and not GT or Ecoboost.
Oh man this is brutal news.

So is this email about the Mustang plant going through a quality review? Or is this another issue that's coming up?

I have a GT on order and got the same exact email so...
From what I understand it's for the CF wheels. Carbon Revolution, the wheel manufacturer, stated on their website that DH wheel production will start late FY 2-23. That puts it Aug-Sep since FY 2-24 starts Oct 01. I ordered mine with these wheels and received the same email last night.
Did the other letter recipients here also order the CF wheels? If not, then it's more than 1 item we are waiting on.

Yes, I got the same email yesterday. Hope it’s a mistake, received same on for my 2022 custom order, and days later, received vin #.The car took a week or so to build and 5 weeks to ship. Arrived with trunk carpet hanging down and dented dash placard. 400 miles, trany stuck in 1st gear and assembly replaced. Then the drivers seat faulty. Final straw, headliner separated and - at 1,400, needed new trany. Lemon experience not great. So I wait for 2024 and hope that new CEO is checking for quality. BTW, 2024 order processed on 3/29.

Premium Ecoboost bronze package. My 4th mustang and if it’s not perfect, not sure what I’ll do.
