Active Exhaust thoughts?

Wouldn't have one without it now after having it on my 2020 Mustang / Stage II Whipple / A10. Set it for quite mode from 9pm-9am and well, neighbors are unaware that it exists. Put it in MyMode when leaving the subdivision and it becomes very aggressive.

I don't know about the horsepower difference but I'd get it just for the sounds alone when you go for a nice drive.

Welcome to the forum @Geiger! Completely agree with you about the active exhaust. Are you thinking of getting the new Mustang along with your 2020 GT?

It does increase the hp to 486 on the GT. It also comes with quad tip exhausts, in case you're not a fan of the base two tip configuration. I'd say it's a good shot, that's what I optioned on mine.

Hey! Yes I ordered one on March 27th. I got the gt premium with the performance pack. Black interior and exterior with the bronze appearance package. I got the performance exhaust, but opted out on the magnaride and 401 pack!

I checked the box for the active exhaust, not just for the extra 6 HP but I have lived in the same subdivision for close to 25 years. And it’s time for me once again have a little rumble to annoy the neighbors on Saturday morning, back when the neighbors either had radical motorcycles an I had a 30’ offshore boat with twin 502’s open exhaust and I flushed both engines when I got home, boy I miss that sound, now there is the new generation of neighbors that have their diesel trucks and tuner kids that seem to have too hit the limiter every time …. Yuck! We’ll all I can say is get ready for the old man in da hood.
