How soon can we expect Ford to start taking pre-orders for the S650 Mustang?

My guess is that it'll be towards the end of the year or beginning of next year. With that being said, when it does open how long before the website crashes? haha
True, that may happen…I just saw the ‘leaked’ photos of the S650, if they are in fact genuine, I am leaning toward ordering an S550, the dashboard and rear styling are not, in my opinion, as nice as those of the S550…I do like the front styling of the leaked S650, but not enough to live with the two just-mentioned undesirables. An S550 with an MGW shifter will make for a fun-driving car for me. My most anticipated eish for the S650 is a switch to a Tremec 6-speed …Thanks for your reply to my earlier post.

@david745215 is likely right, or at least that is how Ford's launch timeline usually unfolds. Have you guys decided what model and spec to get?Same time next year launch

60-70% of my miles are on the highway so it should keep my MPGs reasonable.
Waiting on the specification so unsure atm. S550 City is around 13L-100km.
