Just a few hours until the reveal but these photos are spilling all over Instagram right now. The Start/Stop button looks spot on from the teaser, so I'm thinking these are legit.

Looks incredible. This design should age much better than the outgoing one.

It's not a drastic change from the 6th gen but I think everything Ford did is tasteful.

I'm scrolling through Instagram and there's some rumors floating around about specs. Let's see if they end up being right tonight.
  • Dual 80mm Throttle Bodies with dual Airboxes
  • Three options for transmissions (1 automatic and 2 manual)
  • Upgraded internals for the Coyote V8
  • Rated for 500 horsepower
  • Locked PCM

The way the body line looks across the front of the car reminds me of the 1968 Mustang.

Lots to love here... Recaro seats look amazing.

If 500-hp is true, that will be bonkers!

I like the current one. I feel like this is a nice evolution of it.

So is that one big screen across the dash or two individual ones???

I'm curious about how much of an "evolution" it is under the skin. I like the changes, but I won't be surprised if we learn this is like the new Nissan Z -- fresh looks, but lots of the old car underneath

Looks like one piece of glass to me, but probably two different screens. I'm always curious to see how manufacturers handle using the dead space between the two connected screens. Seems like a good home for warning lights, imo

I think it's two separate screens but they're flush together.

They're good looking seats. I hope there's a bunch of colors we can choose from other than white. 500 hp is a big win for Ford if it's true and it's going to make a lot of people happy.

I feel like right now based on how much automakers are investing in EVs and all the money that's taking we should be happy we're getting anything. I know that's pessimistic, but it's obvious the EVs are taking the spotlight when it comes to investment.

Give me a 5.0-liter V8 and a 6-speed stick shift and I'm a happy happy man

Round of applause for Ford! This is awesome! I wonder how many Mopar people they'll win over now that the Challenger is on its final year.

Agreed! It looks just like most of the renders we've been seeing, but where I worried they all looked kinda truckish, the actual version looks amazing. Well done, Ford!
Like the front of the car more than the current GT/EcoBoost/Mach 1 front. Not so sure about the rear of the new version. The side of the car shown in the second photo looks like a Nissan Z. The steering wheel looks good. Not sure that I like the infotainment/dashboard.

Looks like a Camaro lite. Worse than I imagined. Glad I didn’t wait around. 😳

Funny, I when I first saw the rear 3/4 shot, I thought it might be the old car! I see the taillights are new, but it looks a lot like the outgoing car (to me, anyway).
What don't you like?
And welcome to the forum, btw!

TBH, I was hoping for a new Mustang that's slightly more of a homage to the original generation, but I guess Ford is just trying to keep up with styling trends. But are you at least happy with the interior? Thought it was a refreshing take.

The physical screen looks like one entire unit. I hope that area in the middle isn't a dead spot. Would be great if some of it gets used during certain modes, navigation being one of them.

I think it looks different enough. The smoother bodylines really help.
